Education Secretary Fred Matiang’i just can’t stop blowing Kenyans away.
A month after he surprisingly released the KCPE results, in less than a month after the National exams had wrapped up, the industrious Jubilee Cabinet Minister has now dropped yet another one – released the KCSE results!
Normally, it would take three months before the Form Four candidates would learn of their results but this time, it took just a month. And it was all done.
For a start, there was NO record of exam cheating at all! Which is a first, by the way. And no student scored a Y.
And unlike the previous years where A students ran into the thousands, this year, there were only 141 A students. And only A-4,645 candidates scored A- and 10,975 scored B+.
Speaking at the Shimo La Tewa High School, here he released the results, Fred Matiang’i commended Alliance Girls for their stellar performance.
“This is a true reflection of candidates’ result, without manipulation and massaging of the results,” the CS said.
Results released by Education CS Fred Matiang’i on Thursday show that 149,929 candidates scored D-, while 33,399 students scored E.
Out 20 best students ONLY four boys emerged to battle it out with the scrum of 16 smart girls.
